I had this experience recently happen to me, with an internet domain company, looking to piggy back off one of my domains.
Many companies play the long game and try to cherry pick of someone else’s fame. Which is exactly what this company is tried to do to me. They were looking to capitalize off my intellectual property. They claim to be working on behalf of another company who wanted to buy extensions of my domain name, in Asia. The company was internet hustling.
