BET held it’s live virtual awards show last night. The show was hosted by comedian and recording artist Amanda Seales. A variety of artists from Usher, Summer Walker, Lil Wayne, Meghan The Stallion to Burna Boy performed. 
BET’s virtual awards show was well put together, and people from all over enjoyed it. Amanda Seales did an excellent job of hosting the award show while giving us her brand of comedy.
BET also took time out to honor Beyonce Knowles Carter with the Humanitarian Award. The award was given away by our very own Michelle Obama. Bob Johnson, the founder of BET, spoke about the importance of having our voices heard and putting our culture on the global stage. Forty years of culture and history makers make BET and Bob Johnson iconic.
Artists who won awards this year at the BET Awards were best female artist Meghan The Stallion, best album Lizzo, best male r&b artist Chris Brown. The list of artists who won awards last night on the virtual event was amazing artists. Many new artist were showcased on the live virtual event.
The Black Community felt at home with this new format of a virtual awards show by BET. Many people on Facebook and Twitter were really pleased with the performances and the overall presentation of the show.
