Recently, 60 minutes broadcasted a segment about Amazon and its employees during the crisis. Many black employees felt that Amazon was not doing enough to ensure their safety. Amazon’s head of operations detailed all the things they were doing to keep its work force safe. Many employees who work in some companies believe they have a vested interest in the company serving their needs, even though they are just employees.
Amazon like many other companies are fighting with its workforce to bring about safe working conditions. Amazon has been catching hell among its workforce, more now than ever. During the pandemic employees feel like protesting is the answer to making Amazon act right.
