Stevie J maybe headed to jail for owing over a million dollars in child support. Carol Bennett is a retired music industry executive and the mother of Stevie J’s child. Ms. Bennett sued Stevie J for unpaid child support that accrued to 1.3 million dollars. Under the Child Support Recovery of 1992, The law declares it unlawful for someone to leave any state in the U.S., owing over than $10,000 worth of child support, for more than two years. Stevie J may have to do six months of jail time, if he can’t pay the 1.3 million dollars in back child support.
